
AUSTIN (Talk1370.com) -- Austin Police say they're seeking the public's help in identifying a man who forcibly touched a child in a sexual manner earlier this month at a south Austin Walmart store.
Police say the incident happened on Saturday, May 15, at the Walmart in Southpark Meadows near Interstate 35 and Slaughter Lane.
According to the investigation, the suspect appeared to have entered the store earlier in the afternoon, walking around for some time before approaching the victim. The suspect then proceeded to "forcibly touch the child in a sexual manner" before fleeing the area.
According to police, the suspect is described as a white male of average size, last seen wearing a white baseball cap, a green patterned shirt, maroon pants, and green or gray Converse-style sneakers.
He was seen leaving the scene in a blue or green, older 1999-era body style Chevrolet Suburban.
