AUSTIN (Talk1370.com) -- The suspect wanted in connection with an east Austin homicide earlier this month may have fled the state and flown to New York, according to new surveillance footage released Wednesday.

Officials with the U.S. Marshals Lone Star Fugitive Task Force say 34-year old Kaitlin Marie Armstrong was spotted on surveillance video at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport on May 14.

Armstrong is wanted in connection with the murder of 25-year old Anna Moriah Wilson, a well-known gravel cyclist who was in town preparing for a race in Hico. She was found murdered on May 11 at a home in the 1700 block of Maple Avenue, after a roommate found her bleeding and unconscious from multiple gunshot wounds.

According to officials, Armstrong appears to have boarded a flight to Houston's Hobby Airport around 12:30 p.m. on May 14, then got on a connecting flight to New York's LaGuardia Airport.

Austin Police issued an arrest warrant for Armstrong on May 17.

Armstrong was last seen wearing a blue denim jacket, a black shirt with a pink design on the chest, white jeans, black-and-white tennis shoes and a black COVID-19 mask with a possible yoga mat holder on her shoulders.

Anyone with information on Armstrong's whereabouts is urged to call the US Marshals Service at 800-336-0102, or Capital Area Crime Stoppers at 800-893-8477.
