Dallas-based Southwest Airlines new has new flights into and out of Houston's largest airport, Bush Intercontinental.
For the past 16 years Southwest has only flown into Hobby Airport on the south side of Houston.
Southwest announced plans late in 2020 to expand into some of the nation's largest cities.
Several of the flights into and out of IAH are from Love Field in Dallas. Other routes from Houston include Chicago's Midway Airport, Denver, Nashville and New Orleans.
