DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - Everyone knows the Cowboys have a gaping hole in their secondary. The good news for Dallas is that a battle is underway between two players they very much have an interest in selecting with the No. 10 overall pick.

Just one day after cornerback Patrick Surtain II wowed NFL personnel members at Alabama's pro day, South Carolina cornerback Jaycee Horn was equally, if not more impressive at his pro day Wednesday.

Cowboys VP of personnel Will McClay and defensive coordinator Dan Qunn were on hand to see Horn's standout performance with their own two eyes, according to Michael Gehlken of the Dallas Morning News. The 21-year-old measured in at 6-foot and 205 pounds. His broad jump of 133 inches put him in the 96th percentile for a cornerback, and his 41.5 -inch vertical put him in the 96thth percentile.

As for his unofficial 40 yard dash time, Horn reportedly clocked in at 4.39, just slightly better than Surtain's best unofficial time of 4.42.

When you look at comparisons of the players' measurements and numbers, they both stack up quite well against one another, courtesy of Marcus Mosher.

Horn, the son of former Saints wide receiver Joe Horn, opted out of the remainder of the 2020 season after Will Muschamp was let go. He had two interceptions and 23 passes defended in his three-year career with the Gamecocks.
