Las Vegas, NV (KXST) - A great month of September for Las Vegas Raiders' QB Derek Carr was capped off on Thursday when he was named the AFC's Offensive Player of the Month.
Carr currently is leading the league in passing yards (1,203), with all six of his touchdown passes caught by a different receiver.
Carr became only the fourth player with at least 1,200 passing yards through his team's first three games of a season in NFL history, joining Ryan Fitzpatrick (2018), Kurt Warner (2000) and Tom Brady (2011). He's the only QB to throw for 300+ yards in the first three games this season
The Raiders are off to a 3-0 start for the first time since their Super Bowl season of 2002, and have a showdown with the 2-1 Chargers in Los Angeles on Monday night
