The No. 1-seeded Aces controlled their way to a 85-71 win over the Connecticut Sun on Tuesday in Game 2 in front of a record 10,211 fans to take a 2-0 series lead. They could clinch their first WNBA championship in Game 3 on Thursday (6 p.m. PT, ESPN) in Connecticut. Since the WNBA moved to a best-of-five Finals format, every team that has taken a 2-0 series lead has swept its way to a title.
The potential series clinching Game 3 is on Thursday at 6pm PT on ESPN.
The city of Henderson announced they will be hosting a Game 3 watch party on Water Street Plaza. Fans can watch the Aces hoop their way into history on a 42-foot-wide jumbotron while enjoying prize giveaways, a live DJ and much more! Lawn chairs, blankets and coolers with food and drinks are welcomed! The City of Henderson will also host a watch party if Game 4 is needed on Sunday, Sept. 18.
