The Vegas Golden Knights are bringing back defenseman Dylan Coghlan.

The team announced Wednesday it signed the 23-year-old Coghlan to a two-year deal, with an average annual value of $762,500.

Coghlan appeared in a career-high 29 games last season for the Golden Knights and registered six points (3 G, 3 A). He made his NHL debut at T-Mobile Arena on February 5, 2021. On March 10 in Minnesota against the Wild, Coghlan recorded a hat trick, becoming just the third defenseman in NHL history to score each of his first three career goals in same game.

Coghlan joined the organization in 2017.
