Back in October, "The Price Is Right" returned to more ramped up production schedule following closure from the coronavirus pandemic. Their new production plan also involved a new, social distance-friendly set.
According to Deadline, studio audience members are no longer in attendance. "We quickly realized we were not going to be able to have 300 people on the show sitting close together," series showrunner and executive producer Evelyn Warfel told the outlet at the time.
The changes made to the set account for the lack of studio audience, including a stage that's all on one level.
"We pulled out all the audience chairs and we put in decking and we've now made it all one level. So, it's level," Warfel said.
