Former Browns cornerback and special teamer Tavierre Thomas is signing with the Texans on a two-year, $4 million contract, according to multiple media reports.
Thomas, 25, spent the last three seasons with the Cleveland Browns after going undrafted from Division II Ferris State in 2018.
Thomas started in just three games for the Browns last season, his first time starting in his time there. Thomas had 30 tackles and one sack last season.
Most of his work is on special teams. Thomas returned 10 kicks for 204 yards and blocked a field goal in 2019.
