When the Washington Nationals needed somebody to deliver a crucial hit, down two runs with two outs in the bottom of the 8th inning, the right guy came to the plate.
Juan Soto, who won't turn 21 years old for another few weeks, was the man many Nats fans wanted to see. He put up 34 home runs and 110 RBIs with a .282/.401/.548 with a 138 OPS+. This is his moment.
How locked in was Soto facing the tough Josh Hader? Very locked in.
