Dan Karpuc: Purdue -12.5 vs. Saint Peter’s

Note: this pick may or may not be biased since I picked Purdue to win the entire NCAA Tournament. This Saint Peter’s team has been an exceptional Cinderella story, but I’m expecting the magic to end in this matchup. I fully expect Jaden Ivey to show up like the star he is, for 7'4 center Zach Edey to absolutely dominate on both ends of the floor and for guys like sixth man Trevion Williams to have a field day against the lesser competition. The Boilermakers earned their way to the Sweet 16 with a 10-point win over a dangerous Texas team, but I wouldn’t be shocked if they took care of business by 20+ points in this one, just like they beat Yale (by 22) in the Round of 64.

Lucy Burdge: Providence +270 ML vs. Kansas

Since I have Providence to win the tournament, I have to take them to upset Kansas in the Sweet 16, right? It also helps that the Friars are 13-2 SU versus teams outscoring their opponents by at least four points per game this season; 17-5 when playing against a team with a winning record this season; 8-0 versus teams scoring 77+ points per game; and that Ed Cooley is 36-15 after a game giving up five or fewer offensive rebounds while coaching Providence. With all of this in favor of Providence and my bracket hanging in the balance, I’m definitely all-in on Providence to take out Kansas in this game.

Brad Pinkerton: UNC +2.5 vs. UCLA

As I've said before, any time you can get a blue-blood program like North Carolina at plus-money in the NCAA tournament, you take it. The Tar Heels getting 2.5 points is an attractive value, and I'll also be sprinkling some on the moneyline for the outright upset. UNC has covered in six of their last seven games, and when given at least four days off this season, the Heels are 7-2 ATS and 9-0 SU. They are carrying full momentum heading into this matchup with UCLA, which could be playing without Jaime Jaquez Jr. (ankle) at the worst time. Even if the seemingly indestructible Jaquez plays, I think it's still advantage Carolina here.
