We got a visit from the boss…well, their boss, so to speak, as the Junkies had a visitor from Monumental Sports and Entertainment on Tuesday’s show!

Jim Van Stone, the President of Business Operations and Chief Commercial Officer at MSE – the parent company of Monumental Sports Network, TV home of the Junks – stopped by the studio this morning to talk to the guys about the new Hennessy Mini Suite at Capital One Arena, some other events coming to the Cap outside Caps and Wizards games, and dish a little on how the arena staff can transform the floor from basketball to hockey to concerts or other events so quickly!

That last part was huge, because tonight the Caps and Maple Leafs face off at 6 p.m., the first game on a night where the NHL is dropping the puck on a new game every 15 minutes, so the staff was literally working around the clock after Monday night’s Depeche Mode concert to get the arena hockey ready by the time the Leafs came in for a late-morning pre-game skate!

Take a listen to all that, plus some info on in-arena entertainment and more, above!
