Tuesday is the NFL Trade Deadline, so if there was a time to start making changes in DC, this would be it.
Or, just take it from Rev T, who called in to BMitch & Finlay to bitch about the Commanders:
"You want me to tell these people believe? Go win a damn football game! Make a name for yourself! The question should be, who the hell are the Commanders? I used to say when they first changed the name, we the mighty, mighty Commanders…man, we ain't nothing right now!"
When you're losing Rev T, you've got problems, as JP Finlay pointed out, calling the issue "mediocrity fatigue" and having BMitch quantify it.
"I've had conversations with guys who have said that you want everything to be changing for the better, but some of it is still dragging just a little," Brian said. "When the ownership changed, we saw great progress and a great possibility, but there's still some people that were under the old regime in the building, and I think still some of them got their old ways and that's gonna have to be weeded out, too – and not just with the football stuff, it's people inside the building, too. I've to cause I talked to some guys that have dealt with that type of stuff too and they got issues with a lot of stuff involved with the team, and I'd tell the new people something like, if they can't act like you, get the hell rid of them."
JP mentioned a sit-down interview Ben Fisher is promoting with Josh Harris in Sports Business Journal, and while he wants to wait until after the deadline to really dive in, he did mentioned Fisher's Tweet that Harris said "not everyone" on his inherited business team "will make it, but at the same time, I found a very earnest, hard working group of people that really want to rise to the challenge."
"He's telling the truth, not everyone's gonna make it. If you look at the success that people have had, why would everybody make it?" BMitch replied. "We don't get to know all of the stuff that happens behind closed doors, they read that stuff differently, but the stuff we absolutely can see, I don't think you see much success."
Take a listen as BMitch and Finlay discuss that, and take some calls on things you all want to see change inside the building (and when)!
