BMitch and Finlay opened up Wednesday's show with all kinds of excitement, as they were just over 24 hours away from celebrating the expected official sale of the Commanders.
"It's SALEbration time!" BMitch said.
It is a surreal feeling for JP, who anticipates the scene around DC being one that has rarely been seen in the area, at least from a sporting sense.
"We are truly on the precipice of this thing getting sold," JP said. "I think it's gonna be wild and fun. I think the last time the city will be that much fun was when the Nats won the World Series.
"That's gonna be the vibe [Thursday]."
JP won't be able to make the Burgundy and Sold celebration, as he will be covering the sale vote in Minnesota, where he will also have to contain his excitement.
"There may or may not be an availability on Friday, that may or may not have Magic Johnson as part of it," JP said. "I will be in Minnesota, and tomorrow in Minnesota, I absolutely assume Josh Harris will be there, and I assume Magic Johnson will be there. I gotta figure out how to keep my s--t together to talk to Magic Johnson."
