BMitch & Finlay ready for Commanders to be a 'normal' football team

With Dan Snyder about to be out as Commanders owner, BMitch and Finlay turned to Landfill for his thoughts on what it means for the franchise and its fanbase moving forward.

Simply put, Landfill said it means the Commanders can go back to being a football team, and not constant tabloid material.

“It means the Commanders get to be a normal football team again,” Landfill said. “They get to be a team where if something starts to go well, you know Dan Snyder isn’t gonna sabotage it.

“They’re just gonna be a normal team. maybe they’ll win 12 games, maybe they won’t, but they’ll have people in charge who want to win and are actual professionals and that other teams in the league would be happy to have. You’re not gonna have an owner tying to destroy the people that work for him personally and professionally all the time.”

That is a vision BMitch and Finlay would love to see come true.

“I cannot wait for that to be the conversation,” Finlay said, longing to have a football team in town where the focus is on the actual football. “We became so used to just utter nonsense and dysfunction.”

“Just having a chance to come on here and be more focused on football,” BMitch added. “Breaking down plays, games won and lost, that will be a lot more fun.”
