Dec. 25 isn't until Monday so you can still do some last-minute Christmas shopping – and if you were shopping for the Commanders, what would you give them?
"A Top 5 offensive line, and I need me a legitimate center first," BMitch said when JP asked that question, and when asked if he'd take an offensive tackle in the draft if they run it back with Howell, this was Brian's reply:
"If Sam is my guy, I am gonna make sure he can do his job without being hampered so often, so if you're making this move with Sam, I go get a left tackle TODAY. I think you have enough at certain other positions where a legitimate left tackle and a center you believe in – because that guy touches the ball every play and snaps have to be consistent and accurate every play, and he's calling out defenses, so he knows just as much as the quarterback – are enough."
Jason Kelce and the Eagles was the example of the center being as important as the QB, and when it comes to the tackles (especially the ones at the top of the draft), BMitch needs to see their athleticism before he has a preference.
Jeff Walker agrees with Brian, but gave a different gift in "a game-changing player, it don't matter the position, maybe a dominant tight end, but just that guy who can come in and immediately impact our team," while Landini wants "a general manager who knows what he's doing, because with that, you can get the quality pieces you need to be a good team."
