Danny has officially seen enough.
After the Commanders were blown out by the lowly Bears at home on Thursday night, Danny called for the ownership group to clean house, get rid of head coach Ron Rivera and his staff, and start over with more capable football minds.
"I cannot wait for this regime to be gone. Whether it's today, tomorrow, end of the season. Josh [Harris], Mr. Magic Johnson, Mr. [Mitchell] Rales, whenever you guys are ready. Fire. Ready, aim, fire. We're wasting our time."
Danny would have no problem with Rivera and company being shown the door before Washington's next game, but he could also see the Commanders grinding out some ugly wins to the point where some fans still support Rivera. Danny says those fans would be wrong.
"They'll grind out some 14-12 games, good vibes will happen, they'll fall just short," Danny said. "They'll be 7-10, 8-8-1…how can anyone defend it? How can anyone be OK with it? These guys are bad. They're not good at this. It's a poorly build ting. The sooner it ends, the sooner we can get to real football business."
Grant couldn't agree more with his co-host.
"You 'In Ron we trust' folks are just wrong," Grant said. "You've been wrong for a long time…you're wasting everybody's time. Last night was all you needed to see."
