The Commanders have signed 12 players so far in free agency, and while none of the deals have been more than three years, almost half of them (five) have been one-year deals, with Austin Ekeler getting two and Dante Fowler's term still unknown.
There's a balance between spending cap room wisely, building for the future, and still putting a competitive product on the field in 2024 – but Grant & Danny just have to wonder, what IS up with so many one-year deals so far?
