It’s a huge day here at our Audacy studios because Sam Howell threw for at least 275 yards – and every Tuesday after he does that and the Commanders win, Grant & Danny will host Tendies & Tuddies Tuesday!
Thanks to our friends at Glory Days Grill for going way above and beyond in providing the chicken tenders after Sam Howell provided two tuddies and a win in Denver.
Danny went four tenders with three sauces: “Mild to cleanse the palate, hot because I’m an adult, and then the Glory Sauce.” They also provided Old Bay seasoning and Korean sauce, as well as ranch and blue cheese, so we had the whole gamut of dipping and seasoning.
Danny Rouhier doesn’t do ranch on his tendies, but he’s going Glory Sauce – ‘like a spicy barbecue situation’ – as his top pick, because “what a chicken tender is, is really a sauce delivery vehicle. The whole point is to get as much sauce in your fat face as possible.”
GP is a big Old Bay guy, but he’s not huge on sauces…which is fine, because even if the tendies have cooled down a little bit, “the best thing about tendies is they just keep.”
Happy inaugural Tendies and Tuddies Tuesday, G&D Army - and if you want your own, Glory Days Grill has endless boneless wings on Tuesday nights!
