The all-time list of Commanders first-round picks includes five Hall of Famers, most recently Champ Bailey, and a slew of other players who were Pro Bowlers and fan favorites. And, of course, there's Heath Shuler, who spent more time in DC in the House of Representatives than he did as a Redskin.
After selecting RGIII in 2012, the now-Commanders had two straight years with no first-round pick, and the list of those selections since 2015 includes Brandon Scherff, Josh Doctson, Jonathan Allen, Daron Payne, Dwayne Haskins, Montez Sweat, Chase Young, Jamin Davis, and Jahan Dotson.
The jury is still out on the last two, and of course Haskins is tragically no longer with us - but if you had to rank that group from 1-10, the top spot being the most impactful, how would you rank them? Grant & Danny tried to do that on Tuesday, based on Grant's initial list, and only one thing was for sure: poor Josh Doctson...
Just take it from Danny Rouhier: "If there was a No. 11, I'd put him there, because his foot still hurts."
