Sunday brings about the return of Chase Young to Washington when the 49ers come to town, and JP wondered what the reception will be for the former top Commanders draft pick.
Cakes expects mainly a warm reception, largely because there won’t be many Washington fans in attendance.
“I think there’s gonna be a good amount of Niners fans, because let’s face it, apathy has set in,” Cakes said. “I think he’s gonna get a positive reception. There might be some boos, but I think it will be pretty positive.
“Are Commanders fans emotional about Chase Young returning, or are they just over it? do they just realize that he was picked too high, he had the injury that set him back, he was never gonna fulfill the huge expectations for him here in Washington.
“Are the Chase Young sycophants still out there, or have they processed it? Have they gotten past it?”
