We've found out that Josh Harris is at the NFL Scouting Combine, and is sitting in and participating in h quarterback interviews with his front office…and how should we feel about that?
"I look at it like it's not a big deal; he's the owner, and he wants to kind of feel what the Combine's all about, and sit in on what's the most important decision for his personnel department going forward for maybe 10 years for the franchise," Cakes said. "He just plunked down $6.05 billion for them, but if he's in the war room on draft night and rips up Adam Peters' card and hands his own in, that's a major problem – that's Dan Snyder version 2.0."
"I think it's okay for him to ask a few questions, but if he's the deciding factor or he's a big impact on all of this, then I would say he's probably overstepping his bounds, but I have no problem with him asking a few questions," EB said. "If it turns out he's making the final call?"
Bish thinks everyone will be on the same page and this is just proof Harris wants to understand his front office's decisions, and either way, Harris is DEFINITELY not Dan Snyder.
"The difference also with Dan is he was uniquely awful in all of his businesses. They all failed," EB noted. "The only one that didn't…well, the Redskins really failed, but the value went up because TV contracts and he stumbled into the most popular sport in the history of the world. But all of his other business decisions and acumen they all ultimately failed. He was just a failure all the way around, so that's a little bit of a difference. I don't think Harris has that track record. I think he's a more successful person than Dan Snyder – and what if Adam asked him to sit in there to listen and give his input?"
When Peters when he was introduced, he said he listens to other people when it comes to making decisions and gathering intel and data," Cakes said.
The Junks then went to the phones to get your takes, and react to them – and you can take a listen to it all above!
