Tom Brady went viral on Monday after declaring that the NFL product has diminished since he retired, for multiple reasons.
So, the Junkies spent part of Tuesday’s show whether or not that is the case, or if Brady is just giving himself a pat on the back by saying the league has gone downhill since he left.
“I do think there are times, like when KJ Henry had a sack a couple weeks ago, how else is he supposed to hit the quarterback?” JP said. “They maybe have gone too far in terms of protecting the quarterback. Why are they trying to protect the quarterback? There is a lot of mediocrity. You had Tommy DeVito starting at quarterback this week. How many backups started this week? Guys that aren’t good.
“As a fan, I still enjoy it as much.
It’s not a bad product to me, and I don’t think the ratings reflect that…I watched the game last night, and I was enthralled.”
