The Washington Commanders made the playoffs in 2020 as the NFC East champions despite a 7-9 record - but a similar 7-10 season in 2021 left them out of the postseason in a better division.

So, with Carson Wentz now behind center, what are the chances the Commanders make it back to big-time January football? Well, if you ask Will Brinson from the Pick Six podcast - which BMitch & Finlay did on Thursday - the answer you'll get is more '21 than '20.

"There's definitely a path where the Commanders are good enough to win the division, but I think it's unlikely," Brinson said. "Dallas feels like they've maybe taken a small step back, and while I'm high on the Eagles, the Giants chucking Bradberry says they're willing to lose a lot of games this year, so the division is open enough. I probably need to take a deeper dive and not just dismiss them the way I have, but I think nationally speaking, most people are meh. Like, they got Carson Wentz? Meh."
