The Milwaukee Brewers were unable to win back-to-back series after losing the rubber match to the Minnesota Twins on Thursday, 7-1.

After last night's offensive showcase, the Brewers' offense was once again hitless until Eric Sogard recorded a single in the 5th inning.

Justin Smoak drove in Milwaukee's only run of the night on a solo home run in the 7th inning, his third home run of the season.

Brandon Woodruff was charged with the loss (1-2) after being outdueled by Twins starter Jose Berrios. Woodruff allowed two earned runs through five innings on nine hits.

The Brewers now head to Pittsburgh for a three-game series against the Pirates.
