Allen: Collective 'love' helps push every man in Bills' locker room

Bills quarterback Josh Allen addressed the media after his team's 35-31 come-from-behind win in New England

Foxborough, Mass. (WGR Sports Radio 550) - It was not a great start once again for the Bills, but the end result favored Buffalo, and the team remains alive in the AFC East for another day.

Josh Allen and the offense struggled out of the gate, but still managed to produce 28 second-half points, while the defense kept New England at bay in a 35-31 win over the Patriots at Gillette Stadium.

After trailing for most of the game, Allen and the Bills knew if the outcome was different, they're reign atop the AFC East was all but over.

"We understood what was at stake," said Allen following the win. "At the same time, that wasn't in the back of our heads. We were just saying to each other we've got to find a way to win this football game. That's what we did."

Even though they were able to come out with the win, Allen emphasized how the team has to start better than they have the past two weeks.

"We want to start faster, and we don't want to continue to put ourselves in these holes that we're finding ourselves in," Allen said. "But being able to dig ourselves out, to be battle tested and come down the stretch here with a win. We'd love to find ways earlier on in the game to get things going so we don't have to put ourselves in that situation."

Allen also noted how the team's passion and love they have for each other is one factor that pushes the Bills to keep going, no matter what the score may be.

"The willingness to put their body on the line in order to not let their teammates down, I think that's the driving force. It's the relationships in that room," Allen said. "Whether we're playing really good, whether playing really bad, we're going to stick together and continue to fight."
