Allen: 'We feel like we're in playoff mode now'

Bills quarterback Josh Allen addresses the media following his team's 23-20 win over the Browns in Cleveland

Cleveland, Ohio (WGR Sports Radio 550) - The Buffalo Bills continue to win and stay alive in the AFC East playoff picture after a 23-20 victory over the Cleveland Browns at Huntington Bank Field.

The win also put Buffalo on the cusp of clinching a playoff berth, as all the Bills need following Sunday's win to punch their ticket to the playoffs is a loss by the Indianapolis Colts on Monday to the San Francisco 49ers.

Despite facing a three-win Browns team on Sunday, Bills quarterback Josh Allen knows winning in the NFL doesn't come easy. That's why he will take them however they may come.

"It's just find a way to win a football game," said Allen following the win with the media in Cleveland. "It wasn't the prettiest way we could win. We got some stuff to clean up, but we'll take a victory."

While the Bills didn't trail heading into halftime this time around, Allen took note of the Browns' adjustments in the second half, as Buffalo was held out of the end zone in the second half.

"They get paid too on that side to make adjustments and make plays, and I feel that, starting with me, I didn't make enough plays, especially in that second half," Allen said.

While it wasn't the greatest of days for Allen, going 12-of-19 for just 130 yards in the air, he had plenty of praise for teammate James Cook. The Bills running back was stellar for Buffalo, especially in the first half, as he finished with 117 yards on the ground and two touchdowns.

"Anytime you run the ball with James Cook and with the success that we were having early, that's how you know we're gonna continue to do that, and it's going to open things up. So we keep trusting in him," Allen said.
