Orchard Park, N.Y. (WGR Sports Radio 550) - Buffalo Bills linebacker Matt Milano re-injured his pectoral muscle Sunday night and is now considered "week-to-week", according to head coach Sean McDermott.
While speaking during his weekly Monday media briefing, McDermott says he doesn't believe, at this point, Milano is a candidate to be placed on Injured Reserve.
The situation is even less clear for rookie cornerback Dorian Strong, who is going to see a specialist for his neck injury. Strong was placed on Injured Reserve last week.
Looking ahead to this upcoming week, McDermott says the team is hopeful defensive tackle Ed Oliver will be available to play this coming Monday night against the Atlanta Falcons, adding, "we'll see where that goes this week."
McDermott also wouldn't rule out defensive tackle T.J. Sanders (knee), saying they will take it one day at a time. He also called linebacker Dorian Williams (knee) day-to-day.
On center Connor McGovern, who injured his hand during Sunday's loss to the New England Patriots, McDermott says they are hopeful he can play this week. McGovern stayed in and finished the game Sunday night.
The Bills will play the Falcons on "Monday Night Football" before having their bye the following week.
