Celebrate Labor Day Weekend at the 27th Celebrate Anderson, Anderson County’s signature Labor Day celebration and the largest Labor Day Weekend event in the Upstate! Drawing more than 30,000 fans throughout the weekend, this free, family-friendly event brings together spectacular hot air balloons, live music, food, drinks, entertainment and activities for all ages.
The event features approximately 45 beautiful hot air balloons, with daily flights, balloon glows and tethered rides, all weather permitting. The weekend also features local and regional food vendors, craft beer and wine, plus a variety of activities organized by the Cancer Association of Anderson, including a color run, car show, agricultural fair, kids zone and dozens of vendors.
Live music will fill the weekend, highlighted by a special Sunday night concert celebrating the best of South Carolina talent. The lineup features Dani Rucker and Winyah, followed by an unforgettable finale from party band Yacht Rock Schooner, performing favorites everyone knows and loves. Fans are encouraged to break out their captain’s hats and bring blankets or bag chairs for the concert.
The weekend will culminate with a spectacular drone and fireworks show celebrating Anderson County’s Bicentennial.
