"Country Roads" taking JT Daniels from Georgia to his new school

"Country Roads" will be taking a Quarterback from the defending college football national champions to his new school. JT Daniels has announced he's leaving Georgia and is transferring to West Virginia.

Daniels served primarily as a backup in Athens over the past two seasons, bu did go undefeated in 7 starts for the Bulldogs. He arrived in Georgia after spending the 2018 and 2019 seasons at Southern Cal. Daniels was a highly coveted recruit coming out of California's Mater Dei High School.

Daniels chose West Virginia over Missouri and Oregon State after visiting all three schools in recent weeks. Daniels has been often sidelined by injuries, the last three seasons after throwing 14 TD passes and starting 11 games, his Freshman year at Southern Cal. Daniels will be immediately eligible upon arrival in Morgantown.
