
The Women's Basketball Coach at an Upstate university is leaving her post to take a job with one of the power conferences in college sports. Furman Women's Basketball Coach Jackie Carson is leaving the Paladin Program after 13 seasons at the helm.
Carson is a Furman alumnus who landed the job at her alma mater in 2010 after serving as an Assistant Coach at James Madison. She led Furman to a 2nd place finish in the SoCon in 2014 and was 8 games over .500 during her tenure.
Carson will now assume the position as the Senior Associate Commissioner for Women's Basketball in the ACC.
