"Hooping It Up" Tigers and Gamecocks both start season unbeaten

While they are considered football schools both Clemson and South Carolina Men's basketball teams are unbeaten and are coming off solid wins Tuesday night. Clemson downed 23rd ranked Alabama 85-77 in Tuscaloosa.

The Tigers had four players in double figures, former Dorman High star PJ Hall had a team high 21 points to lead the wat. Chase Hunter added 15 for the Tigers. Clemson shot over 50% from three point range in the win.

South Carolina got a 65-53 win over Notre Dame in Columbia. Guard Meechie Johnson led the way with a game high 29 points. Wofford transfer BJ Mack added 17 for the Gamecocks.

Both South Carolina and Clemson are 6-0 on the season, they'll meet next Wednesday December 6th in Tiger Town. Each team has a game prior to that and would both have to win to set the stage of a matchup of unbeatens.
