One of NASCAR's most storied tracks saw a driver snap a long winless streak over the weekend and it happened right here in the Palmetto State.
Brad Keselowski took the checkered flag at Darlington Raceway Sunday, snapping his 110 race winless streak. It marks his 36th career Cup Series win and the 1st since he won at Talladgea over three years ago.
Keselowski was able to take advantage of a collision between the two race leaders with 10 laps to go, to take the lead. He then held off a hard charge from 2nd place finisher Ty Gibbs to make it to Victory Lane.
Darlington Raceway is currently the only NASCAR Cup Series Track in South Carolina and is set to celebrate it's 75th anniversary next year.
