A brand new men's college basketball showcase is coming to the Upstate, later this year. The first ever Greenville Winter Invitational is set to take place December 17th at Bon Secours Wellness Arena.
The inaugural event will feature Clemson, South Carolina and Furman taking on out of state opponents. South Carolina led by new Head Coach Lamont Paris and in-state super recruit G.G. Jackson will take on East Carolina at 2 PM.
Furman will then tangle with a traditionally strong mid-major program in Stephen F. Austin at 4:30. In the nightcap, Clemson will take on a Richmond Spiders squad that is coming off a run to the round of 32 in last year's NCAA tournament.
The Greenville Winter Invitational is December 17th, tickets go on sale October 7th.
