
The Upstate is set to be a stop on the road to the College Softball World Series. For the 1st time ever, Clemson Softball will host a regional in the NCAA Tournament. The Tigers are seeded 10th nationally and will host one of 16 regionals around the country.

Clemson finished 2nd in the ACC Tournament falling to Florida State in the Finals, this past Saturday. The Tigers will take their home field Friday at Noon to take on UNC-Wilmington, in the opening game of the Regional. Auburn and Louisiana-Lafayette will square off in the second game Friday, slated for 2:30.
The format is double elimination, the winners of Friday's games will meet at 1 PM Saturday and Friday's losers meet in an elimination game Saturday at 3:30. The team that wins on Friday and Saturday will advance to the Regional Finals. A 6 PM game Saturday will determine the other team in the finals. The Regional Finals are set for Sunday Afternoon.
The winner of the Clemson Regional will take on the winner of the Stillwater, Oklahoma Regional for a best 2 of 3 Super Regional Series. The winner of the Super Regional will earn a big to the College World Series, which is set for early June in Oklahoma City.
