South Carolina Women cruise to SEC Tournament Title at the Well

The SEC Women's Tournament concluded at the Well in Greenville Sunday, with the favorite coming in taking the conference crown. The top ranked South Carolina women met 3 seed Tennessee Sunday afternoon in the SEC Finals.

The Lady Vols hung around early, trailing 21-19 after the 1st quarter and 37-31 at the half. SC held the Lady Vols to just 11 points in the 3rd and built a 55-42 lead heading into the final frame. They would salt the game away from there winning 74-58.

South Carolina held Tennessee to just 37% shooting from the floor. Zia Cooke had a game high 24 points to lead South Carolina. Aaliyah Boston added 18 points and 7 boards.

SC is now 32-0 and they've captured the SEC Regular Season and Tournament Titles. They enter the NCAA Tournament with a chance to become just the 5th program all-time to go undefeated on the way to winning the National Title.
