South Carolina women punch ticket to third straight Final Four

South Carolina Women's Basketball punched their ticket to a 3rd straight Final Four appearance with a win in Greenville, Monday night. The Gamecocks owned the offensive glass using a 25-7 advantage in that category in route to a 86-75 victory over 2nd seeded Maryland at the Bon Secours Wellness Arena.

South Carolina trailed 21-15 after the 1st quarter, but outscored the Terps 23-9 in the 2nd to lead 38-30 at the half. It was a balanced attack with three SC players in double figures. Aaliyah Boston had a double-double with 22 points and 10 boards. Zia Cooke had 18 and Brea Beal added 16.

South Carolina has now won 42 straight games. They'll take on Iowa in the nightcap of the Final 4 from Dallas, Friday night.

South Carolina is 36-0 this season, they are now just two wins away from becoming the 5th program in NCAA Women's Basketball history to go undefeated and win the National Title.
