GREENVILLE, S.C. (AP) — Wire 2 Wire with Cole Bryson & Diesel is set to return to the airwaves on Monday, Jan. 5, 2026, as the popular sports talk show resumes after its holiday break, station officials confirmed. The show’s last live broadcast of the year will air on New Year’s Eve, and following a brief hiatus Jan. 1–2, Bryson and co-host Diesel will kick off the new year with their first Monday show in early January.
The weekday program, airing 3–7 p.m. ET on The Fan Upstate, has become a staple for sports fans across the Upstate, blending local coverage with broader national insights and dynamic on-air chemistry.
Listeners can expect the show back in full force Jan. 5, as Bryson and Diesel dive into discussion on the latest news from college football offseason developments to pro sports storylines and everything in between. The break follows the show’s final December broadcast on Dec. 31, after which the hosts will take a brief pause before returning the first Monday of the new year.
Wire 2 Wire has built a dedicated following since its launch, drawing attention for its energetic analysis and local focus. Hosted by two Carolina natives, the program airs on 97.7 FM in Greenville and 97.1 FM in Spartanburg, and streams nationally via the Audacy app.
Fans are encouraged to tune in Jan. 5 when Bryson and Diesel resume their weekday slot, offering the latest in sports talk and engagement as the 2026 season sports landscape begins to take shape.
