David Haugh (4-4): Dolphins 35, Bears 27
Since beating the Patriots, the Bears have traded their best pass rusher and best linebacker. They gave up 200 rushing yards against the Cowboys. Their defense now faces one of the most explosive offenses in the NFL. It's inconceivable to me to see how the Bears can stop anything or anyone Sunday at Soldier Field. Hope that Chase Claypool gets on the field and that Justin Fields continues to improve, but those developments will have to come in a moral victory, because it's hard to see the next real one from here.
Danny Parkins (5-3): Dolphins 30, Bears 26
My biggest bet of the year is on over 43.5 points here. Jaylon Johnson can't cover everyone. If the wind is a huge factor, maybe that's a bad bet and the Bears' running game wins out. Both teams move the ball but in the end, the Dolphins are more effective in the red zone and pull out a win in another entertaining moral victory for the Bears.
Matt Spiegel (6-2): Dolphins 34, Bears 27
An undermanned Bears defense shows up well in the run game, but Tua Tagovailoa and the Blur Brothers are just too fast for the non-Jaylon Johnson defensive backs in coverage. Chase Claypool gets a touchdown in a glimpse of what's to come.
Gabe Ramirez (3-5): Bears 23, Dolphins 21
If you told me the Bears would put up 29 points against the Cowboys, I would've assumed we won. Unfortunately, the Bears defense couldn't stop the Cowboys and that might be the case this Sunday too against the Dolphins. My hope is that the defense rebounds and the Bears continue to put up points. Tua Tagovailoa and company will put up three touchdowns, but the Bears will outlast them and continue to show improvement.
Shane Riordan (3-5): Bears 38, Dolphins 34
Not a doubt in my mind, the ocean's most annoying creature doesn't survive on land in a very wet Soldier Field. Screech away, Tua. Clap those fins. I'll be feasting on Dolphin fin soup after a signature win for Justin Fields.
Chris Tannehill (6-2): Dolphins 33, Bears 27
I want to say this is a trap game for the Dolphins, who has one of the most explosive offenses in the NFL, but the Bears had a hard time stopping the Cowboys with Roquan Smith. Justin Fields has made me a believer of late, and he has a new weapon in Chase Claypool. If Claypool plays, I'm sure Luke Getsy will simplify it for everyone to get Claypool involved, but I think the rollout will be naturally clunky. At the end of the day, the Dolphins just have too many weapons for the Bears to keep up with.
Adam Studzinski (3-5): Dolphins 30, Bears 24
The scores don't matter anymore, not that they ever really did this season. All eyes are on the Bears' future. I'm expecting the offense to keep building on what it has been doing the last couple of weeks, with a few plays designed specifically for Chase Claypool mixed in there. Justin Fields and the Bears compete hard but ultimately fall short against a better team. Time to stack up those moral victories!
Chris Emma (6-2): Dolphins 28, Bears 24
The Bears face a daunting matchup defensively in trying to contain Tua Tagovailoa, Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle. I expect continued progress from Justin Fields and the offense, but Chicago will come up short at Soldier Field.
Cam Ellis (4-4): Dolphins 30, Bears 21
There will probably be lots of deep passes and probably be lots of points and probably be at least one spin move. What more can you really ask for?
