The Bears also ruled out nose tackle Eddie Goldman (knee) on Saturday.

INGLEWOOD, Calif. (670 The Score) -- Bears reserve quarterback Nick Foles was among the team's inactives for Chicago's season opener at the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday night, a list that didn't include any surprises.

With Foles not in uniform, rookie Justin Fields is officially the Bears' backup quarterback behind starter Andy Dalton.

Bears nose tackle Eddie Goldman (knee), wide receiver Breshad Perriman, cornerback Duke Shelley, linebacker Joel Iyiegnuniwe, offensive tackle Lachavious Simmons and tight end Jesper Horsted were also listed as inactive.

Kickoff between the Bears and Rams comes at 7:20 p.m. CT from SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles.
