(Audacy) "Blue Mountain State" actor Ed Marinaro produced quite the viral moment during the second round of the NFL Draft on Friday evening.

Marinaro had a spiel that lasted seemingly forever before he announced the Vikings' selection of Clemson cornerback Andrew Booth Jr. as the No. 42 overall pick. Marinaro took so long that a producer even notably ran on stage in an effort to hurry him along.

In the later rounds, the NFL has fans, celebrities and former and current players appear on stage to call their teams' picks, and somehow Marinaro got the call for the Vikings.

Like clockwork, Twitter absolutely destroyed Marinaro.

Before pursuing a career in acting, Marinaro, was a Vikings running back who was selected in the second round out of Cornell in the 1972 NFL Draft. Marinaro was a great running back in college, winning the 1971 Maxwell Trophy while being the runner-up in the Heisman Trophy race.

Of course, he's best-known in recent years for his portrayal as Martin "Marty" Daniels in "Blue Mountain State," a fictionalized show about a college football team that aired on Spike TV for three seasons.
