Murder-suicide in Starke early Thursday morning, after a man shot and killed his wife, then took his life in front of their children.
Bradford County dispatchers received 911 calls around 5am.
Sheriffs deputies and a SWAT team responded to a mother, the female victim, and a neighbor who witnessed the unfolding attack.
The estranged wife escaped, but was caught nearby and killed.
The man returned to the home, where he threatened their children, before killing himself.
Bradford County Sheriff Gordon Smith on the Bob Rose Show detailed that the man planned the attack, carried out in front of a neighbor, and his children.
