The Washington Commanders – in the bye week at 4-9 and coming off a 45-15 shellacking – are reportedly raising season ticket prices for the 2024 NFL season by an average of 8.9 percent, according to the Washington Post.

The Post notes that parking will not increase and some 10,000 upper-level seats (the lowest-priced seats) will not see any increase. And the reasons for the increase are: demand and investment. (A team spokesperson told the Post that season ticket sales are up 20 percent year over year and the club made large investments to the stadium before the season began.)

Chris Russell goes over the big news, offers his take, and opens up the phone lines to let Washington fans have their say about a season ticket price hike in the first year of the Josh Harris-led ownership group that if they think this is fair that prices are going up?
