Commanders starting center Chase Roullier could miss significant time after suffering a leg injury in Sunday's game against the Lions.
Head coach Ron Rivera told reporters that, at a minimum, Roullier could be looking at short-term Injured Reserve, which would keep him sidelined until Week 7 (Oct. 23 vs. Packers).
But further reports indicated Roullier may potentially need season-ending surgery. ESPN's Jeremy Fowler reports that Roullier could even miss the remainder of the season.
The Post's Nicki Jhabvala reports that Roullier is still seeking opinions on the next step to take.
Wes Schweitzer, who is dealing with an injury (hamstring) of his own that kept him out of Sunday's game, would be the starting center in place of Roullier. That would leave Wes Martin as the backup center.
