Commanders to host open auditions for 2023 'Command Force'

The Washington Commanders are holding open auditions for the Command Force, the team's 44-person entertainment group comprised of "dancers, gymnasts, breakers, b-boys and b-girls, and Beat Ya Feet dancers."

The 2023 Command Force auditions begin Saturday, April 22 and run through Tuesday, April 25 at FedEx Field. The final squad will be announced Friday, April 28.

Additionally, the Command Force will host a series of prep classes in March and April on Tuesdays (March 28, April 4, April 11, April 18) and Thursdays (March 30, April 6, April 13, April 20) from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at FedEx Field. Those will be led by 2022 Command Force veterans and coaches. Each session costs $50 and includes one class.

Participates who register for all eight sessions will receive one class free, plus a one-hour bonus session following the conclusion of the final prep class which will be hosted by the Command Force coaches. The bonus session includes a sneak peek at audition material and a chance for one-on-one feedback with clinic leaders.

Separately, the Command Force is hosting a "Beat Ya Feet workshop" on Wednesday, April 5 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at FedEx Field that will cost $35.
