Josh Harris caught some criticism on social media during Thursday night’s embarrassing loss to the Bears, as the Commanders owner was seen on the Amazon Prime broadcast laughing while looking at his phone during the blowout.
For The Sports Junkies, it wasn’t a good look for Josh “Solo Cup” Harris, as many of the Junks are getting the impression that the Commanders are an investment to the billionaire owner.
“It didn’t even look like an investment,” Cakes said. “It looked like a party for him.”
Bish says he is starting to understand why Harris has drawn criticism from the fanbases of other teams he owns, specifically the 76ers.
“He doesn’t care about the outcome,” Bish said. “He knows it was the greatest investment he is ever gonna make. Now you know why the Sixers fans didn’t like him. He cares about the money.”
The Junkies are still more than happy that it is Harris in the owner’s box rather than Dan Snyder, but the sight of Harris smiling from ear to ear while his new team was down by more than two touchdowns to a team that had lost 14 straight games was not a good look.
“The owner can’t be smoking and joking when you’re down 20-3 and the cameras are on you,” EB said. “I know he didn’t know he had the cameras on you, but you’re getting smoked, and you’re sitting there laughing at text messages on your phone? That’s embarrassing.
“Did you see Magic? He was livid.”
