Autumn and football season are in high gear! The weather is getting crispier around the DMV, but Kevin Sheehan's weekly Smell Test picks are beginning to heat up! We look to keep a good thing going in Week 4 of the 2022 NFL season and the fifth week of college football.

WHAT’S KEVIN'S FOOTBALL "SMELL TEST"?

It’s a contrarian handicapping philosophy. I look for the games where the public is convinced they have it figured out on a game's point spread or total and I go the other way. There’s more to it than that but for the most part, it’s the realization over many years that the house wins more than it loses and the house advantage comes from more than just the built-in vig/fee.

This is my 17th year doing the Smell Test on radio and/or podcast. I've had 11 winning seasons....5 losing seasons.
