Kliff Kingsbury is officially joining the Washington Commanders as the offensive coordinator. After a four-year tenure as Arizona Cardinals head coach (28-37-1 record with one trip to the playoffs) and a one-year stop at USC as an offensive analyst and quarterbacks coach working with Caleb Williams last year, the former Texas Tech head coach is back in the NFL and on Dan Quinn's staff.
Kevin Sheehan discusses the positives of hiring Kingsbury – who had Patrick Mahomes at quarterback during his time at Texas Tech where he went 35-40, 19-35 in Big 12 play in six seasons with the Red Raiders.
What can we see from Kingsbury's offense? Lots of quick throws, lots of shotgun and lots of stuff happening at the line of scrimmage.
Sheehan gives his full thoughts on the new OC in Washington on the audio player above!
