Craig Hoffman doesn't think Washington is going to be very good at the quarterback position in the 2024 NFL season and thinks that deficiency will be the biggest detriment to the Commanders' success on the field and that's fine with him.
"The more I watch this quarterback class," Hoffman said of the passers in the upcoming NFL Draft, "the less ready they are I think they are to play."
So, what is Hoffman's solution to the above? His suggestion is that whoever Adam Peters and company decide to select with the No. 2 overall pick, should sit out their first year in the league.
He emphasized the importance of player development and building for the long term, which has been the stated goal of the new regime, especially considering the challenges of playing high-level football in 2024.
