The Washington Football Team has added another tight end to its roster, signing free agent Ricky Seals-Jones.
An undrafted free agent in 2017 (Texas A&M), Seals-Jones, 26, has previously played for the Cardinals, Browns, and most recently Kansas City in 2020.
He has 60 career catches for 773 yards and eight touchdowns. Although he was only targeted once during the 2020 regular season, Seals-Jones was active for two of Kansas City's playoff games, on the field for 11 total offensive snaps. He was inactive for the Super Bowl.
Seals-Jones is the second former Chiefs tight end Washington has signed this offseason, also adding Deon Yelder in the first week of May.
Washington's TE room now includes: Seals-Jones, Logan Thomas, Sammis Reyes, Deon Yelder, Tyrone Swoopes, Temarrick Hemingway, Dylan Cantrell and rookie John Bates.
Washington released tight end Marcus Baugh earlier this month.
